Need A Photographer?

We have photographers who would love to come out and take photos of your next event! Some photographers are looking to gain experience while our more advanced photographers would like to gain more exposure and do what they love...TAKE PICTURES!

Beginning Photographers - Our beginning photographers need to gain more field experience and the best way to do that is to let them come out and photograph your next event.

Advanced Photographers - Our advanced photographers need to keep up with their skill by staying in practice and volunteering around base by offering their services.

LIMITATIONS: Our photographers are volunteers only. Types of events that we cannot do as your primary source of photography are weddings and special occasions.  Our volunteers can be a secondary source for photo shoots to help gain experience for our beginners for these events but should not be your primary source of photography.  If, at your request, would like us to find an advanced photographer who will work, let us know and we'll submit your information to professionals who have experience in photographing special occasions and weddings.  These professionals may be members of the Aviano Photo Club but will provide services separate from the club.

Contact us by sending an email to volunteers@avianophotoclub.com and someone will respond as soon as possible. Be sure to include your name and phone number in your message.

We will accept electronic versions of the form and your digital signature is acceptable.  If you have trouble viewing the document in your browser, right click and select "save target as" or "save link as".  You can email the completed form to volunteers@avianophotoclub.com or print and drop the form off at the AFRC (Airmen & Family Readiness Center) at the front desk.

Terms of Service for Photographer Requests

Fees

The services provided are on a voluntary basis only and no fees are to be collected.  Our photographers do not offer commercial services when volunteering for or representing Aviano Photo Club.

Potential Clients

Our photographers may be approached by some of the event attendees asking about their photography service(s).  We do allow our members to distribute their business cards and book sessions for individuals, if asked.  However, we do not allow our members to "push" sales for personal photography services while providing services at your event.  For example, members cannot post signs, hand out flyers, or make announcements about their personal photography services.

Copyright And Usage

The event coordinator/director and administration is granted a non-exclusive, unlimited license,  for use of digital images for non-commercial purposes such as printing, email, exchange with friends, displaying on their own organization's website or social networking profiles.  Each photographer owns the copyright to his/her photographs.  If attendees have not been informed that photographs will be taken, permission must be granted by each subject in the photos when using photographs for non-editorial purposes.

Commercial Use

Aviano Photo Club volunteer photographers are providing a service to help meet the goals of the individual photographer and the club.  The volunteers provide photography services for military affiliated events and photos cannot be used for commercial or for-profit purposes without a release from the photographer and permission from the subject(s) in the photo(s). No photos can be taken containing identifiable military structures, training missions, or the flight line.

Credit To The Photographer

When displaying or using photos from the event, whether in print or online, we ask that the photographer be credited.  Credit can be shown by displaying a watermark in the photo, by placing text below or beside the photo, or placing text on the same page as the photo. For example: Photography provided by: William Tapper or Photograph taken by: William Tapper.

Printing

Printing of photographs is not a service provided. However, the photographer may recommend places to order prints.

Limitation Of Liability

Photography service is provided by the individual photographers and is not a service provided by Aviano Photo Club.  Aviano Photo Club provides a forum for service placement.  Each Aviano Photo Club volunteer photographer will make a good faith effort to provide services to the best of his/her ability.

By submitting a request for a photographer, the client understands the terms set forth and will not hold Aviano Photo Club liable for photographer's inability to provide services or any actions/behaviors deemed inadequate, inappropriate or for situations to include, but not limited to, failure to attend events, equipment failure, damage to media, or any other reasons whereas the photographer may not be able to fulfill the service as requested.
